Meet The Founder

Roa Ruyyashi is a passionate child development specialist and the founder of Al Roa Childhood Center. With a strong background in speech and language pathology and over a decade of hands-on experience, Roa is committed to creating meaningful, individualized programs that empower children and support families. Her vision is to offer early intervention with heart—building brighter futures, one child at a time.

Behavioral Therapy

Our Behavioral Therapy services are designed to encourage positive behavioral patterns by using structured motivation, reinforcement, and reward-based techniques. The goal is to strengthen desirable behaviors while reducing or eliminating challenging ones such as aggression, social withdrawal, refusal to engage, physical complaints without medical cause, uncontrolled anger, low frustration tolerance, and self-harming actions. This therapeutic approach applies evidence-based learning principles to help children develop meaningful, real-world skills. Speech & Language Therapy

Speech and Language Therapy is a specialized service aimed at assessing and supporting children who experience challenges in various aspects of communication. This includes difficulties with understanding spoken language, expressing thoughts clearly, pronouncing words correctly, as well as developing reading and listening comprehension skills. Through individualized therapy sessions, our experienced speech-language pathologists work to enhance a child’s ability to communicate effectively, build vocabulary, improve articulation, and strengthen both verbal and non-verbal communication. Shadow Teaching

Shadow teaching is a specialized support service offered within mainstream classroom environments to assist children with various disorders or developmental challenges. Our skilled therapists collaborate closely with classroom teachers, school social counselors, and parents to ensure that each child’s unique needs are met effectively. By implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), designing tailored behavior management strategies, and promoting active participation, shadow teachers help integrate students into academic and social activities.
